Trust us with your new laminate installation
Laminate flooring is a versatile material designed and engineered for easy installation. You can install new laminate floors in almost every room in your home. It's also much faster because there is no need for adhesives or special tools. DIY laminate installation is a great weekend project if you have prior experience and the proper tools. However, we still recommend getting a professional laminate installation to ensure everything goes right and to make sure the job is covered under any warranties.
During and after laminate installation
This versatile flooring is designed for a "floating laminate installation" that doesn’t require glue, nails, or staples. Instead, laminate boards have unique tongue-and-groove edges that connect by simply locking into place. Once new laminate installation is complete, the entire floor “floats” above the subfloor, expanding and contracting with the temperature and humidity changes in your home. We recommend a key step after laminate installation is finished: If you are sensitive to dust and odors, you should establish good ventilation. If you have questions about floor maintenance after laminate installation, we would be happy to answer them for you. Feel free to contact us at Flooring By Design.
