Vinyl Installation

Trust us with your vinyl installation!

Before your vinyl can be installed, you'll need to remove your old flooring and make sure your subfloor is prepared. You can contact us for more information on the best steps to take before new vinyl installation. Once your substrate is ready to go, the process is ready to begin! Vinyl can be installed with one of three different techniques: full spread, perimeter-adhered, or floating installation. With full spread vinyl installation, installers apply adhesive to the entire substrate. With perimeter-adhered vinyl installation, the adhesive is only applied to seams and perimeters of the vinyl flooring. Finally, a floating vinyl installation is when no adhesive is used to glue the vinyl to the substrate. We can recommend which vinyl installation method is the best for your specific rooms and household conditions.

During and after installation

Depending on the type of vinyl you have selected for installation, the process will vary in duration. You'll need to keep pets and children away from the area for their own safety. As far as the best steps to take after new vinyl installation, you should make sure your room has good ventilation. You can help ensure good air flow by opening up windows, turning on fans, and taking other steps to air the room out for about 48 to 72 hours. Then, it’s up to you to care for and maintain your new vinyl floor.
